Let's take a break from the cream of the past few weeks and take a step outside.
May really is the most beautiful month here on the west coast. Wildflowers are opening, lambs are bouncing, and everything is GREEN! Plus, we're only a month away from midsummer and that means that we've got sunlight like nobody's business. Tonight's sunset: 10:42 PM.
Back in July and August, I had this marvelous plan of doing little nature photo reportages focusing on the color of each month. Who knows why that didn't go anywhere. It could be because each month from September through April are mostly filled with the very uninspiring tones of brown and grey. Anyway, I'll be back soon with a new post from the kitchen. It might even be something without cream!
Beautiful photos. While Seattle doesn't have as short of days as Norway does in the winter months, I can certainly identify with everything being gray for a season, and then erupting into gorgeous colors again. Don't we live in such a beautiful world?
