It's nice to drive the few hours to my husband's home village every few months. Especially in the summer. We get pampered with homemade cakes and Lasse gets loads of attention from his smitten farfar (father's father) and farmor (father's mother). Of course, the fact that a fantastic white sand beach is just down the road from their house doesn't hurt. Refviksanden has been voted year, after year, to be Norway's nicest beach. For a country with 52,000 miles (83,000 km) of coastline, that's a pretty impressive award.
Who doesn't love a trip to the beach!

I recognized it before you told us where it was!
Oh, how cute my sweet Lasse is. I can't wait to meet him!
Say hello to Farfar and Farmor for me.

Going to the beach is certainly fun, especially if you want to forget your problems. That beach is so beautiful that I want to go there right now! And the baby looks cute.
