Happy Halloween!
Sorry, but there won’t be a single spooky, ghoulish, devilish, not even pumpkin-flavored recipe to be had today. Lame, I know.
You see the whole family’s jetlaged in a major way. Five-hour-long-naps and waking-up-ready-to-play-at-10 pm jetlagged. We stuck the 10 pound bun on a plane bound for America and were gone for all of October. It was great, but now we're back in Førde. Did you miss us? Even know we were gone? Lasse’s back with a passport full of stamps and three new teeth. This kid’s moving up in the world, I tell you.
Until we all get over our jetlag (next Sunday, maybe?), plop yourself down in a pile of leaves, sample a maple, maybe a ginko or oak, then take a minute to read this great article. It’s about an impossibly adorable, fascinating, and talented woman.
New recipes to come…
Aw, what a cute little munchkin! He's just getting some extra fiber in. Happy Halloween!

The baby seems to have missed the garden while you were away. There's nothing like munching up leaves as a welcome home treat. Congrats on getting through jet lag and phase 1 of teething!
