We're still digesting all those pork ribs and Christmas cookies, so there hasn't been a whole lot of fancy baking going on in our home over the past few weeks. There has been a lot of coffee drinking (me), army crawling and slipper eating (Lasse), and short walks out in the cold (both of us). A few more walks and a few more cups of coffee and we just might be ready to bake something fun and tasty for 2011.
The gray Fjording looks like my wife's horse. The rest of ours are brunblakka. Looks like a lovely neighborhood to walk in.

Jon- I don't really know all that much about horses, but I do know that Fjords are my absolute fav. Our neighbors down the road have about a dozen horses, 3 of which are fjords. Two of them are grey (maybe a mother and son?) and one of which is a brunblakka (had to look that one up- seems to be the most common type of fjord???)

It's looking very Alaskan there.

Can't wait! That little one is turning into quite the kid. Like he knows what's going on in the world. Know what I mean?
